
Dr. Jae Yeon Choi
Dr. Jae Yeon Choi found passion in the dental field during high school and enrolled in a 7-year joint degree program at Adelphi University and New York University College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Choi completed another year of extensive training through a general practice residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Choi expanded her knowledge from residency in complex treatment planning, dental implants, extractions, and root canals. Working in a hospital setting allowed her to gain experience in treating a wide variety of patients of all ages and aiding in complex emergency and surgical procedures.
Dr. Choi focuses on getting to know her patients and believes in the importance of quality care. She understands that many patients may not be completely comfortable with the idea of visiting a dentist. All treatment is customized for each patient and discussed in great detail to make each visit a low-stress experience.
In her free time, Dr. Choi loves to explore different restaurants and cuisines in Illinois. Dr. Choi shares a great interest in traveling, wakeboarding, and playing the violin.

Dr. Sung Park
Dr. Park was born and raised in South Korea before moving to the United States at the age of 15. He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Astronomy, and completed his dental education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Before coming to Chicago, he practiced at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Missouri for six years, where he provided care to patients with the greatest dental needs.
He believes prevention is the best dental treatment and puts a strong emphasis on patient education. He takes the time to explain and share dental knowledge with his patients, helping them maintain good oral health. His commitment to quality care begins with discussing each treatment option with patients to help them make informed choices that are best suited to their individual situation.
An avid reader, Dr. Park enjoys reading in his free time, and his current goal is to finish the Les Rougon-Macquart series by Émile Zola. He also loves going to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and it is his lifelong dream to be able to play all the partitas for solo violin by Bach.

Dr. Joon Han
Dr. Joon Han, a Board-Certified Prosthodontist and the owner of Irvington Dental, now practices at Scharrington Dental. In 2009, he founded Scharrington Dental with a deep commitment to delivering exceptional dental care to Schaumburg, IL, and its neighboring areas.
Dr. Han boasts an impressive academic background, with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Music from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Illinois – Chicago, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Illinois – College of Dentistry, where he was awarded the Howard Kubuki Award for Clinical Excellence.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Dr. Han is one of just 31 Board Certified Prosthodontists in Illinois. His expertise covers a range of dental procedures, and he coordinates seamlessly with specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients and the community.
